MADAS FUEL SHUT-OFF VALVE VIC

Fuel shut-off valve – I.S.P.E.S.L. approved, art. VIC

Art:

Description

Positive action safety valves, not activated by external power, built with the purpose of intercepting the flow of fuel from the burner in order to avoid that the temperature of the water in the system supply circuit reaches the boiling temperature.

The valve is closed through:

• Perforating or cutting the capillary and/or sensor bulb.
ATTENTION: Since this is a positive action valve, in this case it is no longer possible to reset the valve.

• Water temperature rises up to the calibration point. In this case it is possible to reset the valve only once the water temperature drops at least 10°C compared to the calibration value shown on the label.

NOTE: An original copy of the calibration report is supplied with each valve. This document, besides supplying technical data for the valve, also contains the serial number which is also shown on the seal fixed to the valve body. The document is stamped and validated by the INAIL (National Institute for the Prevention of Accidents at Work) technician who was present
during the calibration. It is recommended to preserve it with extreme care since it is not possible to release a duplicate copy in case of loss.
